These hustlers have to work in dangerous environments to take care of themselves and their families. Nobody really cares about them. They and the contractors have thrown caution to the wind. Sad. @SakajaJohnson @ncakenya @NemaKenya

@KRACare These services are useful only if you make tax filing easier. The form is too complex for most 'ordinary' populace whose technological literacy is limited. Learn from other countries like Mauritius or the UK with easy-to-use systems. No wonder compliance is a problem.

@guardian_sport Why didn't van Gaal say the same about the other countries that have hosted the World Cup before? What motivates such statements? I also believe it's about money but I don't think van Gaal's criticism here is genuine.

'It’s about money, commercial interests. That’s the main motive of Fifa' – Louis van Gaal has criticised the 'ridiculous' decision to award the 2022 World Cup to Qatar

The motorbikes are back! Is the President really in charge of this country? He orders some crackdown and action, registration, licensing and regulation and a few days later, nothing happens. What a disappointment!

Moses Kuria and Sabina Chege know something about stolen votes. If true, it means the UhuruRuto government has been illegitimate and they should be asked to step down immediately.

Max is an absolutely fantastic driver who has had an incredible season and I have nothing but huge respect for him, but what just happened is absolutely unacceptable. I cannot believe what we’ve just seen.

The Windhoek +30 Declaration captures the voices of journalists from the Eastern African region who worked hard to ensure their views were captured in the revised Declaration. Thanks colleagues. #WorldPressFreedomDay #FreeMediaEA

The 'Windhoek +30 Declaration pays tribute to those who opened up this path. Now let each one of us resolve to do our part to help secure information as a public good - as an urgency today, and as a legacy for those who come after us'. #WorldPressFreedomDay
