CLARIFICATION ON ALLEGED ATTACK ON ARCHBISHOP KAZIIMBA IN BOSTON 4th May 2026: Church of Uganda has taken note of a video circulating on social media alleging that the Archbishop of Church of Uganda, The Most Rev Dr. Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu, was attacked during a Church service at St Peter's Anglican Church, Boston, United States of America. We wish to categorically clarify that this narrative is false and misleading. The Archbishop is currently in the United States on official duties. During a recent service in Boston, a brief disruption was caused by a small group of individuals who have not yet been identified. The situation was promptly contained, and the service proceeded without further interruption. @Archbp_COU was not harmed in any way. He remains safe and continues to execute his ministry as scheduled during his international visit. Interacted this morning with Mr. Baliza Emmanuel, the father of Baliza William, a young man who was abducted on 10th February and has been missing since. On that day, armed operatives picked him up in a drone, which he says was full of guns, pliers, solido wires, iron bars, etc. He was asked to reveal the whereabouts of his son, or else he faces consequences. He did and was told the young man was posting anti-government content on tiktok. He has since moved everywhere looking for the son without success! #FreeUgandaNow

YES! Protecting Uganda’s oil resources is essential to national security and economic stability. Without this law, Uganda risks instability similar to that seen in Somalia and Libya. The same groups that opposed the Pipeline are now sponsoring different groups to oppose this Bill. Any Ugandan concerned with national interest should support this legislation.

I was suspended by the VC @LIRA_UNIVERSITY in May 2023 and later on "illegally" dismissed in January 2024. With my Lawyers, we applied for Judicial review at the High Court of Lira. For 3 years, I have been out of the University; but I am glad to tell you that the Lira High Court has issued judgement in my favor. And for the Students of Lira University, the ungazetted policies and laws that the University administration has been using to oppress students have been TRASHED by the High court. I told you JUSTICE DELAYS, but JUSTICE COMES. Great thanks to my Lawyers and all those that stood with me.
