@ztranche @1GAVINNORTH If anything it plays into the narrative that Enic care about one thing and one thing only and that’s money money and more money……. For them.

@1GAVINNORTH Maybe but it’s poor on their part. How much it ultimately serves to enrich them further remains to be seen but it’s nefarious behavior at the very least.

@Noahvalerrio With a different attacking philosophy hopefully plays more to the back fours strengths. We will be a basketball team that is for sure however. Lots of nailbiting ahead…..

@ztranche Great stuff Sam. Did you manage to establish non football costs ba non football event profits? I’m trying to get head around the massive uplift in ops costs? Are these events actually profitable?

Nobody found this because the warrant sat hidden and unvalued for 3 years. I only discovered it by hunting down an unexplained £23m jump in the club’s finance costs. That jump? The club being forced to mark the warrant to market after the EL win re-rated the club’s value. That one number led straight to this. ENIC used a pandemic emergency to quietly write themselves a compounding exit bonus — using OUR club’s balance sheet — while making us feel they finally stepping up financially. ENIC that… 🪄👋 #THFC #Spurs #COYS (7/7)

@GaryRWard Also this in no way allows them to present their ‘preference’ on manager selection being a short term interim - that is not in their wheelhouse and was not in any way reflective of majority fan sentiment and should not have been presented as such. they’ve lost many fans now.

THST have sent an email to members this morning regarding their statement following the appointment of Roberto De Zerbi. " With regard to our statement on Roberto De Zerbi’s appointment, prior to the announcement, we were contacted by a number of members and supporters who asked us to raise their concerns with the Club. We took this, along with our reflections on how the Club's values and our Five Principles of Ownership were being upheld by the Club, into our decision-making. The Board determined they were not. Our aim was to challenge the Club and the newly appointed manager in a way that would clarify their position. We felt, based on the feedback we were receiving, that this was vital to ensure the fan base would feel heard, which, in turn, would enable us to all focus on supporting the team and the new manager in the final games of the season. We hope the Club will do so quickly. We appreciate all the support and constructive criticism we have received in this instance and will consider and reflect on the opinions of our members and other Spurs fans at our next meeting. This will include assessing mechanisms to take the pulse of our members' views at speed. More information to follow. We remain committed to being an independent, democratic body open to all Tottenham Hotspur supporters. We would encourage all of our members to get involved whenever they can and welcome ongoing dialogue on this and other issues impacting the Club. Our sole focus now is on supporting the team in the games we have left and playing our part in preventing relegation." #THFC #SPURS #COYS #TOTTENHAM

THST have replied to me today & confirmed another statement is due to address the context and rationale of the initial statement being released. Following complaints, concerns, and feedback from some members & fan groups, they felt it was important to challenge the club on this appointment to help a united fanbase. They will review all support & criticism internally too. #THFC #SPURS #COYS #TOTTENHAM

@THSTOfficial You're supposed to be representative of the fans. What dialogue have you sought before producing a statement. "Our preference". The trust isn't about your preference. You've forgotten the core point of your being.

@THSTOfficial I'm a member of the THST & haven't received any notifications or asked for my opinion regarding Roberto's appointment or a statement being made. Is this normal? Surely you would speak to members first before releasing anything? #THFC #SPURS #COYS #TOTTENHAM

@ztranche @SpursOfficial Out on the website - finishing 17th TV money big impact interestingly £70m more on operational expense - love to know more detail on how that correlates to hosting events - profit on non football events vs expenses allocated etc

The closer we get to the end of the season I cannot see any of our motley crew putting bodies on the line for the club with a World Cup on the horizon. We need a miracle next 4 games or the worst is inevitable. Just so depressing. #THFC

@ben_bowman_ I’m glad they’ve stopped playing Munich at full time losses as I used to really like that song. With how we’ve played it’s now 1. Had to beTerribly overplayed and 2. Brings out trauma I want to leave behind.

For the love of god can someone at Spurs please stop playing Dakota by Stereophonics after every game we lose there’s got to be a better song than one where the lyrics “I don’t know where we are going now” are being screamed throughout the song

I just don’t see how we as fans emotionally recover from this. All the effort, heart, emotion and passion put in to organise that pre game, just for them to serve that up. All feels sadly & disgracefully inevitable as not many joker cards available when half the team don’t care.

I don’t tend to buy into conspiracy theories but there is genuinely a massive communal urge to relegate us, obvious why too tbf as it would be a massive story. Siege mentality from all needed and spurs fans will show the world Sunday

Nottingham Forest need not despair. I sat with the Tottenham fans at Anfield and Richarlison's goal should fool no one - it was a joyless pit of frustration and naked fury at how hollow Igor Tudor and his team are trib.al/CkLvwj7

@SkySportsPL Interviewer absolutely embarrassing - a so called professional journalist laughing because of the language barrier and his own insecurities at not getting the bites and rises he was after. Sky needs to do so much better. This and YouTubers and they wonder why people buy sticks

@1882_Tottenham @SkySports THe club press officer should’ve stepped in - it was clear the narrative the guy was trying to create and his ‘frustrated laugh at language barrier’ just embarrassing. Sky need to do better - we need a siege mentality against everything including press bullshit

The interview from the @SkySports reporter to Tudor was disgraceful. He kept pushing and pushing to be negative. It became awkward. They don’t push other clubs in this way. Up there with the Kane penalty situation years ago.

Haven’t seen a Vinai video for a while. Is he ok? Seemed quite perky in August and September interviews for the YouTube channel and was Thoroughly roused by the December programme statement. Total Fraud. #thfc #ENICOut

@WestHamPlace Pating the highest prices in Europe to line the owners pockets - to see a bunch of cowards in the directors box and on the pitch. Can only hope by a miracle we play each other next year - can’t see it from our end. £600m revenue to be relegated incredible

The commentators saying that the “Spurs players need the fans right now” is such an insult To be fair to Spurs fans, they turn up every single week and have to endure that complete and utter wank football On a football level, I don’t care for Spurs but I know exactly how their fans feel - like so many other fans, they’ve been let down.
