This is Jahangir Khan.
He is a TMC leader in West Bengal.
He is very close to Abhishek Banerjee and used to indulge in hooliganism during the TMC government. He threatened and intimidated people and prevented them from voting freely. He used to win elections through rigged voting. This time too, he orchestrated rigged voting in the Falta assembly seat. Therefore, after an investigation, the Falta assembly elections were cancelled. Now, re-polling is scheduled there. But before that, Jahangir Khan announced that he was withdrawing from the election.
Because he knows that with the BJP coming to power in Bengal, he will no longer be able to intimidate voters or rigged voting. Therefore, he knows he will lose the election, making it pointless to contest. Just imagine – leaders like Jahangir Khan have been winning elections for years through rigged voting, and as soon as they face a genuine election, they withdraw their candidacy.
