So Dem leadership gets Golden to be the one vote to make sure this fails. He's not running for re-election, so he has nothing to lose. That's how this works.

kind of incredible that in only a short time with Mamdani as mayor, NYC has gone from only 31 percent feeling the city is moving in the right direction to 56 percent feeling it is.

I don’t look that much like Mamdani. But when you’re working in New York politics as a 30-something light-skinned man with a brown beard who often wears a suit and tie, you kind of invite the comparison.
