Turned on women’s lacrosse championship during the softball rain delay. These rules are lame. Tying goal overturned on something that makes no sense. Apparently when the UNC player shot it, her stick brushed the arm of the defender. Do people like this?

I felt the same way, said so on the pod but figured I was in the draft nerd minority. Based on the comments on my show it seemed like most loved the 8 minute format. I thought 10 mins in the first round was perfect tbh.

@rotobrady @TheHoopHerald I guess my point was that UNC’s fanbase is (or at least was) more patient than they are getting credit for. Fair point about baggage carrying forward though.
I think if he just shows signs of making UNC a legit threat to land top talent again the fans will stick with him.

This was always a name thrown around early in the process, Carolina kicked the tires on top tier college coaches then ultimately decided to go with a proven coach with championship NBA experience. This happened quicker than many expected, helps Malone to hit the ground running with the portal opening up tonight at midnight

I don't think it's a position they are particularly picky about.
Do they want athletes with good tape? (Yes, everyone does)
But the threshold things we like to do (myself included) are more of a roadmap, not exact GPS coordinates.

Results driven business. And Hubert Davis wasn't good enough. 6 seed or worse in 4/5 seasons at UNC isn't the standard. Not even close.

UNC is/would be burdened by $50 million+ in 🏀/🏈expenses by cutting ties with Davis. But yesterday, per source, some key boosters expressed belief they could rally to pay off HD's contract and foot the buyout bill for a successor. If no move is made, fundraising would languish.
