@GamingHoagie @Fenrirtheicewo1 Honestly, there are big similarities, at least in the aspect of exploring human consciousness. And they both lifted heavily from William Gibson's work, so it's kinda irrelevant if GitS inspired Matrix. I love them both (and Gibson books), so whatever... 😂

For petesake Anime did not inspire everything. Most of these things are older than the animes here. Other stuff existed in the west before anime... that didn't suck ass... I know it's hard to believe.

20 hours being a "short game" I have seen it all. some of the greatest games ever made come under 15 hours in length, people demanding x amount of value per dollar spent is how you get bloated shitshows like AC Valhalla. give me a curated experience over needless bloat anyday.

Steven Phillips spent more than 25 years in prison for a crime he did not commit. He was finally released in 2008 after DNA testing proved he was innocent.
