@gordonbennett12 That’s my point, I think he should be given a chance (just) but i think he’s gone, they won’t allow him to spend in the summer, then if we do have a poor pre season & start, we’ve seen it at lots of clubs recently, poor season, given the cheque book in the summer, gone 3 weeks in
I’m still in the Howe in category, given everything he has done for us……. But……. I don’t think he will be here next season, the way this season has gone, if we have a poor pre-season & first few games, it sets the tone for the season……… #nufc
@gordonbennett12 Really disappointing, Kev. It seems to have gone stale. It looks like it requires a real freshen up. It's just a pity after the highs of last season.
I've had to endure the 'come down' both sides of the border.
😂Roll on next season👍.
For over 50 years i’ve loved Newcastle United. Some heartbreaks along the way, but so much fun. I can’t get near it now. I’m not sure we’re getting what we thought when bought over. Been a poor season & we’ve been outstripped by the Euro Mackems🫣🥲. It’s got to be better🤷🏼♂️🖤🤍.
He appears to have hit a glass ceiling after the cup win last year. Some miserable stuff this season. Although, i’m not sure that the owners are assisting this as much as he might have expected. It’ll be interesting to see where it goes from here🤔
When Dylan Tombides found a lump at 17, he was told it was just a cyst.
All he cared about was breaking into the West Ham team and passing his driving test.
Then, during a random drugs test at the Under-17 World Cup, doctors discovered the truth. Dylan had cancer.
Within days, he had surgery. By the weekend, he was starting chemotherapy.
But he never stopped acting like a footballer.
He kept training. Kept smiling. Kept fighting.
In 2012, Sam Allardyce gave him his West Ham debut at just 18 years old.
Then in 2014, after everything his body had already been through, Dylan still flew out to play for Australia at the AFC Under-22 Championship.
He played four games in eight days.
When he returned to England, he was told the treatment was no longer working.
Dylan passed away later that year aged just 20.
West Ham retired his number 38 shirt.
Before Dylan, the only player to receive that honour was Bobby Moore.
They hacked him here, they hacked him there, the cryptos hacked him everywhere BUT phoenix like from the ashes it’s a return (not of the Mac) but of the ‘Brown aka The Silver Fox. And the music choice is a lady who penned great songs @bicrunga
Roy Keane on Jordan Henderson 6 years ago:
“I’ve heard people say they want him around the place - for what? Does he do card tricks? Does he have a sing song? Does he do quizzes in the evenings?”
Really hope the smogs win today but for me showed lack of fitness in the second leg of the semis and think this will be magnified at Wembley. I hope I’m wrong! #efl
It’s an impossible situation picking 26when there are so many options. Depending on your club, it will taunt your opinion. As a toon fan can understand raised eye brows over BDB,whilst delighted for him. Lewis Hall a shocker tho. #NUFC
I will say one more thing on spygate before I go on holiday. I don’t blame William Salt. I genuinely feel sorry for him. Leave him alone and let him get on with his life and career.
It’s not his fault and he’s been dragged through the mud in the name of Southampton football club. He was asked to do something he believed was part of his job.
I’m incredibly sorry for Southampton supporters who had some joy in their life, who were proud of their club and the team for getting to the play off final. As fans we all know that feeling and why we cherish it and stick with our teams through thick and thin. Yes some reacted with defiant humour but see the world through someone else’s eyes and ask what would you have done?
The blame for this scandal is not theirs. They wanted to believe in their club, their tribe and stayed loyal. That’s what fans do.
They were failed
