Another horrendous PP for the #NHLJets. The same vanilla entry every time. Teams are well prepared for this slow and unimaginative strategy. Stood up at the line, no one retrieves puck chipped low, rinse and repeat.

Disappointed with result. But #NHLJets Connor Hellebuyck has ended all this “can’t win the big game” narrative. He was the difference in the Team USA win.

My god. You get the feeling the Jets will NEVER win another game. 4-2 Ottawa. Painful to watch. Jets have no confidence, too many players under-achieving. They are lost. What a mess. It’s truly sad when you consider what the reasonable expectations were before the season began.

I’d put Vilardi at the bumper and Lowry net front. Teams would have to respect the point shot (they don’t now, at all) and 17 could create chaos. Vilardi creativity would be nice at the bumper. The odd time you could swap out 44 for 6 or 4 and blast a couple to keep em honest.

Not sure how #NHLJets expect success on PP. Its far too slow and predictable. Perimeter passes ending with bad angle shots hoping that 55 and 81 can somehow find magic. Teams have taken away 13 in front. No one net front and we can’t make use of bumper guy at all it seems. Yawn.

Feel bad for the boys…..#NHLJets battling so hard and a dominant third. Just not happening for this group.

This #NHLJets game not helping me stay up to midnight…..much of the period played a foot from the boards. Can’t get it anywhere close to danger areas. Guess I’ll watch WJC where D is always an afterthought

@ScottBilleck No professional player is going to tank. Team is probably still too good to finish at the bottom. Last two games show that. If it happens, it happens. Putting young guys in won’t make this team worse. You can maybe tank with ten games left but can’t sit first line for 40 gms

The craziest thing is that the Jets could tank for McKenna, get rid of the old and the slow that they added last summer, add what they should have last summer, finally find a 2C and are right back to contending with no. 1 pick as second line left wing.

Even when they play well we #NHLJets can’t get anything go our way. Perfetti dwindling usage and useless with the minutes he gets. You either have to get him out there more or scratch him. Up to Arniel on how he wants to play it.

I'm not sure what's going on here in Salt Lake City today, but this is an entirely new level of low so far for these #NHLJets. Disorganized. Disinterested. Just a complete disaster.

@evanwaldner31 Probably not a matter of “deserve” but a matter of seeing if he can contribute anywhere on this team. His skill set might work there. Certainly doesn’t in bottom six….
