At a time in young lives when so much is changing, why add another change to those under MH care? We want to get beyond the usual point that the CAMHS/adult transition is problematic. Exactly why? What ⬆️ or ⬇️ risk?

Part of the case for a social media ban relates to suicide & self-harm rates. In fact, the evidence is at best circumstantial & shows The SH ⬆️ in young people began well before social media took hold. The ⬆️ in suicide in young teens is very recent. It remains mercifully rare.
