In 2023, I worked with Android, Compose, SwiftUI, Flutter, React Native, C++, web, React, Svelte, Framer, Noesis, Bevy, and Unity. All using @rive_app runtimes. Our entry for the @rive_app X @contra HMI Vehicle Challenge. I would say the one we enjoy the most so far! This time, we approached it differently. A single story merging multiple use cases. • Onewheel HMI, adding a new interface layer to Airwheel • Helmet HMI, extending an LS2 helmet • Car HMI, reimagined for a Hyundai IONIQ 5 concept With a small extra: a Spaceship Cruiser Navigation concept at the end. Rive native renderer is mighty impressive but I feel like the #flutterdev integration could use some love. I spent quite a bit of time making the desktop engines resize smoothly but Rive renderer flickers a lot. So I poked around a bit and got synchronized resizing working 🙂

At @weareflod, we designed a full automotive HMI study: car, interior, cluster, main display, and a companion app plugged into a real manufacturer's API. @rive_app was key to bringing it all to life. Joysticks and blend states for the cluster gauges, solos for a pre-rendered @Blender navigation scene, state machine inputs tying the whole prototype together. I first downloaded a trial version of Macromedia Flash 3 in 1998 and little did I realize at the time that it would shape the course of my life for the next 27 years. I owe a lot of the success in my career to this piece of software that evolved over the years to become such a central part of the web, games and video. Though I’d moved on to other platforms over the years, I joined the team at Rive because we shared the same goal of building not just a platform, but a community that would allow people to share their creativity in the same way Flash did. It’s pretty special to have the opportunity to give Flash files a way to “live on” in an editor and modern runtime that we’re continually trying to improve for our users whether designers, coders, animators or artists. I hope @rive_app can give others everything Flash gave me and more.

@CryptoFreaka @rive_app I don’t think the code snippet above is relevant to what you’re describing. The best place to report these issues are on GitHub. Please create an issue there with steps to reproduce. If we can reproduce the issue we can investigate a fix.

Made this plant persona (I call him Tiny) using @rive_app 's data binding, GPT and some hardware (ESP32 and a few sensors like touch, mositure, hum, light, temp). Most of the logic is on my client side rn. But will try and see how far I can take the logic part with scripting (They keep on building so fast!)
