@SueNutt2 To be fair geo engineering is a confirmed thing since Operation Popeye through to Iranian droughts, but always used as a weapon of war by a defined enemy. So who and why? And so in line with what the climate science has predicted for multiple decades.

Since 4 am I've seen the trails fill the sky. They've also geo-engineered the weather so it's going to be really hot. It's going to affect both humans and wildlife. You have to be a psychopath to destroy everything, like this. I hope karma returns it to them 10-fold.

Gut wrenching to see four young people jailed for direct action against an arms supplier to Israel. Years in prison for protesting to save lives in Gaza, with 'terrorism' used despite no jury convicting them of it. A truly dangerous attack on the right to protest.

@nalex Its true to say building nuclear power stations in the UK has been a disaster, they finsh up way over budget & take twice as long to build as they should. How is it South Korea can build them on schedule and on budget. We need to solve those issues so we can have more nuclear.

The people in the Westminster Bubble - politicians and media - DO NOT GET IT THEY don't care about the GENOCIDE in Gaza so they assume others do not care BUT the people of the UK are overwhelmingly decent and humane and they hate seeing babies, children, civilians generally being murdered systematically AND many will VOTE accordingly
Harriet Williamson@harriepw

EXCLUSIVE: More than half of former Labour voters who intent to back a centre or leftwing party in the next general election have cited the government's record on Gaza as a reason for abandoning Labour, new polling shows.

@higgyboson A load of you lot ( and the bot swarms that support you) have become high profile on here since last weeks record breaking spring heatwave. Received your marching orders I suppose.

Apparently it's going to be "about average" temperatures for the next couple of weeks with "about average" amounts of rainfall and "about average" wind speeds. Does this mean that "climate change" is going on holiday? Did it burn itself out over the past couple of weeks? Does it need a rest? You can bet the climate change Armageddonists won't take a day off. Too busy working on new ways to curtail our lives to a point where all existence is just miserable daily drudgery.

Britain has the dirtiest rivers, the most expensive energy, the least reliable trains, the most overcrowded prisons, the worst access to healthcare and the widest gap between rich and poor in all of Europe. If you want a verdict on 40 years of neoliberalism, there it is.

That's nature for you. So-called 'extreme', record breaking events happen continually all over the world, and nothing to do with us. In Antarctica, for example, some places are registering in the swealtering -90°Cs. Anyway, these are 2, 3 or 4 hot days, then it gets cooler again, as it always does.

Heat records are going to get smashed today and tomorrow and it's still MAY. The usual geniuses are still commenting with 'it's just summer, stop moaning and of course insults. Our houses are built to trap heat like bloody ovens. Thick insulation, brick walls, tiny windows, bugger all airflow and zero AC. Then there's humidity where your sweat can't even cool you down and it's miserable. This is only the beginning. As global temperatures keep rising, heatwaves will become more frequent, more intense, and even harder to cope with especially in places not built for sustained extreme heat like the UK.

The British media were absolute desperate for Boris Johnson to beat Jeremy Corbyn. And they're absolutely desperate for Nigel Farage to beat Zack Polanski. And it's really sickening.
