@garyseconomics @ZackPolanski 12 million additional people are here due to immigration policy. If we hadn’t done that our kids could afford houses. Migration has to stop. We need to remove the least productive three million migrants. We then need to demolish our worst 5% housing stock for safety.

@zarahsultana God help us, we don’t seem to have one grown up in the House of Commons. While you are arguing about this pointless crap, Labour is trying to destroy our pensions. Not 1 MP seems to be standing for what will actually make a difference to people

@SoulCrusher780 @CavLFC98 @Corballyred @AdamMcKola Clearly you’re so young you never watched Suarez play in the PL and the only videos you’ve watched are Rooneys YouTube highlight reels. I hear wisdom has been chasing you but you are too quick

Are you smoking crack? Even when he wanted to leave he won the league! 3Peat with a Champions League and won a Ballon d'Or with actual competition from the likes of Kaka, Messi, etc. I don't care if he spent more time in Madrid and won more there. He's a shoe in the PL XI.

@SoulCrusher780 @CavLFC98 @Corballyred @AdamMcKola I’ve seen them both and you’re definitely the delusional one. Rooney never even realised his full potential cos he was too busy smoking and drinking. Suarez > Rooney any day of the week

@Easternquarters @eiversa1 @implausibleblog Sikhs not in the same way as Muslims. Please check your facts. The only segregation is different sides of the same prayer room. Even a lot of names can be either male or female. All eat together in the same hall, with no segregation

Dawn Butler, "It's the same in Hinduism, (some forms of) Christianity, Judaism - religions practice it differently" "That's not the point, the point is when you talk about values, British values, what are they?" "My British values is not tolerance, is acceptance"" "I'm accepting of other religions, other people's way of life, of who other people love, of different colours and religions" "Not tolerate, because i don't need to tolerate other people and their religions" "And for a member of parliament, Nick Timothy, to say what he said publicly. And for the leader of the opposition Kemi Badenoch to double down on that, I think brings our politics into disrepute"

@spamspamspam75 @matthew_elliott I’m not sure what you mean. Government has been at war with private landlords pushing property into the hands of corporations for over a decade now. To reduce rent you need to increase competition in the sector not remove it like they’ve been doing

@gordzilla @matthew_elliott He’s surrounded by landlords in there. Push for lower rents and a higher wage. Removes the need for universal credit. Fix the actual problems that means the government has to supplement people’s income with benefits just so they can survive.

The Government will collect £331bn in income tax this year, and spend £333bn on welfare. In other words, we now spend more on people not working than we raise from those who do. And the cost? Debt per person has risen from £11.5k in 2000 (inflation adjusted) to over £41k today.

@spamspamspam75 @matthew_elliott Although I do agree he colours the picture to favour his point he does have one though. The welfare (including pensions) bill is far too high and not sustainable. Well over 50% of people take out more than what they put in. This is simply not sustainable

The entire premise of the original post is a crock of shite. He bundles in pensions to inflate the figure by about £140bn then misses out the additional £200bn+ NI contributions take in. NI is what pays the pensions, not income taxes. In reality, £331bn will be taken in from income tax and another £200bn in NI. We’ll pay out £333bn in benefits, including pensions. That leaves £198bn. There’s the full picture, not the right wing edited lowlights.
