@gorilladrones I wouldn't mind but this will be expensive to run, judgements will be made off the data recorded (right or wrong) instead of a visual observation of the flight.

The DfT AGAIN spinning bollocks about a number plate in the sky, basically it's network remote ID which will not stop illegal drone use & will not stop false positive drone sightings.
It'll spaff a load of tax payers' cash though.

@gorilladrones I suspect it's mainly as few companies are really interested in BVLOS plus we all know the CAA consultations ignore views anyway. Remote ID proved that.

is this reflecting how many organisations are or want to be involved in BVLOS, or just that the CAA have lost their stakeholders over the years and nobody can be bothered to engage any longer?

The CAA never listened to consultations and even the Home Office got to put in rigged questions before so I'm not surprised few are motivated to fill in forms for the sake of it anymore...

Minister van Defensie @FranckenTheo heeft mijn volledige steun. In het dossier van de drones heeft hij zijn verantwoordelijkheid genomen. Er waren overvliegingen boven strategische locaties en er moest dringend worden gereageerd. Theo heeft dat gedaan. De geschiedenis achteraf herschrijven, is een totaal belachelijke controverse. #MRvoorzitter #trotseliberaal

I thought Amazon would be lowering drone parcels by winch in the US, not lowering the whole drone and just sh💩tting out the parcel on the floor. Light parcels would blow away if it were windy! Several years of development to do this!
