This Transgender Day of Remembrance, we honour the over 350 trans people killed globally this year, and many more who have died by suicide. These are the violent consequences of anti-trans extremism. We won’t rest until everyone in our society has dignity, freedom and safety.

As Equalities Minister, Badenoch attacked trans people and failed to ban conversion therapy. She's called maternity pay excessive and her campaign leaflets argue that autistic people get “economic privileges”. Her election shows that the Tories only care about culture wars.
