Hey @GOtransit, please consider shifting evening Richmond Hill train departures by 3-5 mins later (e.g. 5:18/5:48 instead of 5:15/5:45). This gives arriving Lakeshore West riders a chance to connect instead of waiting 30 mins! Thanks.

Then, show a Canadian school-issued ID or government-issued photo ID to set up the Youth fare on your PRESTO card at Union Station or a customer service outlet, or at a Shoppers Drug Mart location. The Service Guarantee program does require customers to tap within 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time to be eligible. Tapping earlier than that unfortunately falls outside the eligibility criteria, which is why your claim may have been declined. That said, we’d still be happy to have this reviewed more closely. Could you please send us a private message with: Your PRESTO card number, the date and time of the trip and any case or reference number you received. We can make sure this is shared with the appropriate team for reassessment. ^CK

@GOtransit my Go train service guarantee claim was denied because I tapped 23 minutes before the trip instead of within 15 minutes. This is ridiculous, the lakeshore west train only runs every 30 minutes not every 15. Is there anyway this can be processed?
