“Men suffer in silence." No, they don’t. They treat everyone around them like dogshit. They externalize their feelings onto the women closest to them, usually.

@ABmrJutt In my experience, what men think is "suffering in silence" is them stomping around and sulking ostentatiously but snapping back "NOTHING!" when you ask what's wrong. 🙄

@sensiblemiddle @elonmusk Talking an image out of context doesn't make you clever. It shows you'll lie to support what's indefensible. If what you believe requires deception to support, maybe don't believe that. When the truth makes you uncomfortable, it's time to change your position rather than lie.

@AnaKasparian A journalist who is not curious? Ana doesn't want to hear opposing views because it might weekend her argument. "I don't want to know the whole story, just enough to reinforce my own point of view." Why are you so pathetic?

@cenkuygur Muslims turned America against Muslims. Israel's help was not needed.

@CupCupBaconBox This is Israeli propaganda boiled down to a simple sentence. This is what they have been pumping into this country for decades to poison people’s minds. Their goal was to turn Christians against Muslims, so America would help them kill their Muslim neighbors and take their land.

Israel is scarier than other terrorist groups, because they do organized terrorism. They kill people on a much larger scale, they kill civilians in greater percentages and they destroy everywhere they go - and then they steal the land! Most effective terrorists in the world!
sarah@sahouraxo

Israel’s bulldozers are wiping out civilian homes, tourist sites, and hotels in Naqoura, South Lebanon. Not military targets. South Lebanon is being erased — like Gaza before it. This is an American-backed, American-funded genocide.

@AnaKasparian Until you start criticizing all of the terrorist Nations of the Middle East, you have nothing to say about Israel. Don't say, "but I do criticize them". More innocent people have died as a result of Islamic terrorism. Your ratio of criticism is out of whack.

@AnaKasparian @provemewrong_us The great thing about Lebanon is they have never bombed anybody. They just love peace. They don't send rockets into Israel. None of that ever happens. I don't think you understand how terrorism works. Sending rockets indiscriminately into city centers deserves retaliation.

Israel just carpet bombed multiple parts of Lebanon, bombed a literal fucking funeral, killed dozens of emergency rescue workers and announced they’re just taking southern Lebanon. We all know the truth. You think we’re blind and deaf but we ALL SEE the depravity and evil carried out by Israel, which modern day Nazi scum like you provide cover for. We are at war with the wrong country.

@cenkuygur Logical fallacy, red herring. NATO has done nothing in this war. They've not even stood up for their own interests, let alone acted as an ally. Imagine how quickly this would have been over with even a little political pressure instead of siding with the ones wanting nukes.

Why is Trump threatening to leave NATO? Because the Israelis have already announced they want to attack Turkey next - and Turkey is in NATO. Israel can't attack our own alliance, so they have to first destroy that alliance.

@AnaKasparian What an absolute hypocrite you are! When people condemn Islam for the terroristic activities that are rife within that culture, you're quick to say you can't blame all Muslims. Yet here you are condemning all of Israel because of your hatred of the Jews. You are pathetic!

@SydneyLWatson Both. There are things that are mandatory on any given day, but one must remain flexible enough to not be derailed by whatever else may arise. It's frustrating when you have a list but don't finish it because something came up. Judge the day on accomplishments not on check marks.

Men - do you have a "mental list" of things you need to do every day? Or do you tackle things as they pop up? (I'm asking because a friend and I were talking about this earlier and we both wondered how common it is for men, because it's VERY common for women)

@ElessarVIII @AHaleIII @VladimirSuvor So, never admit when you're wrong? He stated, IN HIS POST, that he has a different viewpoint. He said he was wrong, in your mind that's a bad thing. This shows YOUR immaturity. I hope you don't believe things you believed when you were 10 now, I fear you do. Grow up, others do.

@AHaleIII @VladimirSuvor Doing a 180 on these kinds of topics is substantially worse than holding the better view in the first place. Megyn Kelly's flip-flop on transing the kids is probably the best example.

There's nothing wrong with this viewpoint. It's similar to my own. But a year or two ago, Matt Walsh was not only arguing the TOTAL OPPOSITE, but doing so sneeringly, declaring that those who wanted their kids to stay after 18 were unserious, immature fools. We mock leftists for these abrupt, sudden flip-flops. "We have never been at war with Eastasia! We have always been at war with Eastasia!", or Covid going from a common flu overhyped by hysterical right-wing rасists to a dread pandemic that requires masks and endless jabs. Why should it be any different for Fake Right clowns like Matt Walsh? Why does he get a pass? Especially since these flip-flops all neatly align with whatever is popular and fashionionable at the time among the groups he wishes to pander to. (Like his buddy Candace Owens, Matt Walsh used to cancel actual right-wingers for daring to discuss the reality of rасe and crime) We wonder why so many "right-wing thought leaders" turn out to be feckless, grifting, degenerate, idiоt clowns, and allowing such stunts is the reason.

I used to be entirely in the camp that said you should kick your kids out at 18 and force them to live independently and make their own way in the world. I don’t feel that way at all anymore. I want all my kids to live with us until they get married. Even after they’re married, if they want to live on our property, or close by, my wife and I would love that. The important thing is to teach your kids responsibility, which we’re doing. They need to contribute and help around the house, which all of our kids do from a very young age. Provided you aren’t raising ungrateful useless moochers, why kick them out? Why drive them away from your family home? I don’t see the point in it anymore. I actually like my kids and like being around them. Maybe they’ll all end up scattered to the wind. But I’d prefer to keep the family together. Why wouldn’t I?

@AnaKasparian The eighth amendment to the Constitution prevents such punishments as you suggest. It is unconstitutional inflict cruel and unusual punishments. I didn't know you were such a proponent of the death penalty in the first place. I guess only if they're Jews!

@Jimegolfer1 @jackunheard @elonmusk Tell me you don't understand the physics of space. Once the vehicle leaves Earth's atmosphere, there is nothing impeding its trajectory. Let's ask Newton, an object in motion stays in motion. With no friction on the vessel the fuel needed to get to the moon is negligible.

While not specifically labeled a "Trump rocket," commercial providers currently used for orbit (like SpaceX) charge approximately $55–$60 million per seat for flights to the International Space Station. The International Space Station (ISS) orbits just ~250 miles (400 km) above Earth, while the Moon is roughly 238,000–250,000 miles (384,000–404,000 km)away. This means the Moon is nearly 1,000 times farther away than the ISS, making the ISS essentially a close neighbor, whereas the Moon requires a multi-day journey.  Estimated passenger seat on Moon flight at 1000 times space station flight $55,000,000,000. That is $55 Billion. Currently there are approximately 15 to 18 billionaires in the world having a net worth exceeding $100 billion, often referred to as "centibillionaires”

@EricinAmericaX @johnrich Why do you have a problem with someone having an alternate view from you? That doesn't seem very inclusive. That doesn't sound very progressive, rather regressive. You censor someone else's point of view? I don't get it. Projection much?

Conservatives are extremely desperate right now to sell their alternative "halftime show" to the public. "Show" is probably not the most precise word to describe it though. Something like "political theater" or "culture war gimmick" is more apropos. That said, how anyone can be so painfully naive and unaware of how pathetic this comes across is beyond me. Not to mention how this political tantrum calls the sincerity of the "religious right" into question considering the irony of Kid Rock hosting a "Christian" event. This isn't about football, music, or "Christian values." It's about bigotry, it's about cultural grievances, it's about identity signaling and it's about thinking that such a lazy, shallow, spiteful and embarrassing attempt at counter-programming amounts to some kind of act of symbolic resistance. *Eye roll* Nevermind that Toilet Paper USA has no other choice but to rely on a line up of washed up never-beens because nobody talented or worth anything would agree to perform or even support the event. Yes, let's just ignore how wildly out of touch it is that their deadbeat headliner is notorious for lyrics that are inherently UN-Christian in almost every way. Lyrics that are overtly misogynistic and demeaning towards women, that glorify addictive and abusive behavior, that are lacking in all substance, and among other things, lyrics that minimize rape and relations with underage girls. Now that I think about it, in a way, he actually is representative of conservatives! Imagine that... That said, this whole charade just amounts to another culture war powered performance begging for attention; desperate to have conservatives' grievances and their collective victimhood validated. This is like a temperamental child announcing something to the effect of, "Fine! I didn’t want to play YOUR game anyway. I’m starting my OWN game—and it’s better!” Except in this case, conservatives excluded THEMSELVES. Pathetic doesn't even begin to describe it.

@AnaKasparian It's almost like when Biden wanted to have a "ministry of thought" to police social media. He even had a lunatic picked out to be its head. It's like we forgot about it, locked it away with the memories of countless other abuses of power blamed on preventing the spread of COVID.
