Socialism is a religion. Today — May 1 — is its high holy day. The Marxist malignancy has metastasized in America, from AOC to Zohran Mamdani. Will it engulf us all? You wouldn’t know Karl Marx without Vladimir Lenin. Marx never built a real political program — just ten slogans in the Communist Manifesto, and unreadable gibberish in Das Kapital. He wasn’t trying to write economics or policy. He was founding a religion. An atheology, if you will. He flipped Hegel "right-side up", embraced Feuerbach’s materialism (man is only “matter in motion”), preached a "labor theory of value" that was economically absurd and turned workers into cogs in his machine, and promised a perfectible humanity "remade" by an all-powerful State: the "New Soviet Man". Add an eschatology of inevitable victory and you have the full package: a faith more contagious than any other in modern history. What Bullington called "fire in the minds of men." That faith produced the ultimate idol: the omnipotent State. Morality became whatever the Party said. 2 + 2 = 5. Individuals became disposable. The body count reached 100 million. Two billion more lived in an earthly hell. Lenin, Stalin, Mao didn’t corrupt Marx. They fulfilled him. Yet this false god still seduces elites worldwide — and now it’s surging inside America itself. It often calls itself "Critical Theory" now. But nothing has changed. The antidote? Remembering that we are the vanguard of something far greater: the American idea. The “city on a hill” where free people, not the State, create human flourishing. Millions come here every year. There's a reason. You don't see "migrant caravans" leaving for North Korea. We don’t need to match the Socialists' fervor with compromise. We need to match it with truth. Socialism isn’t politics. It’s a cult. Controlling you is its only aim. The only real question is: Will we let this 19th-century false religion devour the greatest, freest nation in human history… or will we finally reject it once and for all? Tell me what you think in the comments!

Margaret Sanger founded Planned Parenthood as a way to eugenicize mass numbers of black people. And it worked. The total black population of the US is currently ~15% of the country-- around 50 million people. 37- 40 million are over age 18. But without abortion, roughly 35 million black people in America were never born. Roughly 20 million black people over the age of 18 would be alive today if they or a parent had not been aborted. In other words, the abortion industry has erased at least 50% of the black voting age population. Which is why they need to practice extreme gerrymandering to maximize their political power: democrats accidentally genocided half their most important racial voting bloc.

@varrock @elonmusk Norwegian girls must be enjoying rape by immigrants or they wouldn't keep voting for the same government. In 2025 the Progress party (very strict stand on immigration) gained overall but the Labour party (wishy-washy) maintained the majority and governs.

Why should the EPA need to remove the PFAs? Just let the data centers build and operate the waste water treatment on site. This happens in many other industries, e.g. biofuels, fertilizer etc. The cost hasn't killed those and it is small compared to the investment of a data center. This is no reason to stop the development of data centers. Think of the positives, too. How many trips alone are saved thanks to data centers

Google’s Data Center in New Albany, Ohio uses 387,000 gallons per day. That’s over 141 million gallons per year “What happens to that water? It gets generated with a lot of forever chemicals in it, and we the EPA does not have the equipment to actually clean that out” It’s true standard municipal wastewater treatment plants often struggle with PFAS because these chemicals don’t break down easily and require specialized, expensive removal technology

@JamesSurowiecki No Gas prices rose in 2022 because the US didn't want peace in Ukraine. Both events are caused by US aggression. However, in the case of Iran, there is the excuse that we don't want them to make a nuclear weapon.

Sundar Pichai just said data centers in space will be "the new normal" within a decade. @elonmusk has been saying this for years. When the CEO of Google starts agreeing with Elon, pay attention. The orbital compute era is closer than you think.

Thank you for your insight btw. I will be thrilled to see data centers in space in a decade. I don't understand why so many people attack me personally instead of offering a counter-argument. I remain doubtful that this is the most economic path forward. Elon is a brilliant guy but not everything he touched worked out, which is absolutely fine.

Lots of people are replying telling you that you’re wrong, but not explaining why. For curious readers: Orbital datacenters would likely sit at an altitude where the Earth’s magnetic field still protects them from most radiation. The error rate is reduced to an acceptable level needing only moderate shielding, some of which can be the heat sink material (i.e. surround the chip with aluminum that extends into a radiative fin and provides shielding).

Guys, I don't know what you all know or have in your mind. Perhaps you convinced NVIDIA to redesign their chips for space. That would be awesome! Perhaps you decided you don't need NVIDIA chipsets. Great! My question: isn't really a cheaper alternative? I think I prefer Meta's plan to download energy from space. Sounds easier to me

@greenstanion @PeterDiamandis @elonmusk People like me? I am a PhD in computer science. I know we can solve engineering problems. OF COURSE we can engineer a data center in space! The question is: does the economics work? Isn't there a simpler path?

@yishan @PeterDiamandis @elonmusk Even in LEO, they would survive longer, but not the full lifecycle they enjoy on earth. And replacing a malfunctioning one is too expensive. Still doesn't sound like a solution to me. I definitely wish them success though!
