@gp_porter @MsEsco_in_6th It's largely an exaggeration and yet I've never found hiding questions from students to be a useful strategy. Test days are less than 10% of the year and I'm utilizing the other 90+% to challenge them in discussion to build their understanding. To show them how to analyze.

I keep seeing people criticizing teachers, saying we are “indoctrinating” students. I can’t even get my students to take out their materials and listen when I’m giving them the answers to the test. But sure, ok.
