I love Mormons, but I will not lie to them and pretend that their religion is Christianity. Their religion does NOT accept these truths: 1. The Bible is the only word of God 2. God's nature is triune 3. Jesus is eternal & wasn't created 4. We are saved by grace through faith in Christ alone.

Paul Ehrlich is dead. His legacy is misunderstood.
He was, in fact, correct about a lot of things-- he was rendered wrong because innovative and industrious people chose to make him wrong.
The lesson for today is simple: people have to choose to make low-fertility-fears wrong.

The average nominal price in 1980 was $37.42. Entry level workers were earning around $4.06 an hour. That would be a time price of 9.22 hours. Today oil is $97.03 and limited service restaurant workers are earning $18.95 an hour, putting the time price at 5.12 hours. The time price has fallen by 44.5%. You get 80% more today for an hour of work, even with a war going on.

@RogerPielkeJr The Population Bomb was published by Ballantine. Commercial (trade) books are not peer reviewed (and also not fact checked).
