I finally watched the 1st episode of Red Dwarf & I saw the actor who played Mr Weasley in the movies in a small part. I was amused & happy to see him there.

I heard there was a no kings protest this weekend. So what? You democrats are just sore losers because you fielded an unlikable & unqualified presidential candidate. Get over yourselves already!!

What was the first Studio Ghibli movie you watched?

@TolkienWorldG No. The story is told. This is unnecessary and unneeded. Now a 'prequel' movie about young Aragorn when he was in Rohan would be better.

There seems to be some confusion regarding the timeline for Lord of the Rings: The Shadow of the Past. Variety reported that it will take place 14 years after the end of The Return of the King: “Set 14 years after the passing of Frodo, the film will follow Sam, Merry, and Pippin as they set out to retrace the first steps of their adventure.” In Colbert and Jackson’s announcement video, they said the movie will focus on chapters 3–8 of The Fellowship of the Ring. The future setting seems to be the framing device for the film. A huge chunk of the film will likely be flashbacks to the events of those chapters. This means we will most likely see the Barrow-wights, Tom Bombadil, and Goldberry! (And perhaps some de-aging technology for the Hobbits!)

Meanwhile, Sam’s daughter, Elanor, has discovered a long-buried secret and is determined to uncover why the War of the Ring was very nearly lost before it even began. Stephen Colbert is co-writing the script.
