🚨LATEST: CRYPTO FIRM BLOCKFILLS FILES FOR CHAPTER 11 BANKRUPTCY
Crypto lender, BlockFills, has filed for Chapter 11 protection after weeks of crisis.
The filing was made by Reliz Ltd., the entity operating the firm. The case was submitted to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware.
Three related entities also entered bankruptcy proceedings.
The move follows a temporary halt on client withdrawals.
Blockfills says restructuring is the “most responsible path forward.”
The firm reported assets between $50M and $100M. Estimated liabilities range from $100M to $500M.
Executives say the process will help stabilize operations.
