Correct - margins are huge on the men's side for size and athleticisim. Not on the women's side so skill is the separator with elite athletes

@Artxpooh As someone who teaches art, Almost all families discourage their kids studying anything that the the "money making" careers. Yes, even white kids who dont have wealthy family discourage their kids from doing any art related careers. We are a money making society.

Incredibly disappointing life lessons these NCCA D1 women hoops players are getting from sports now. Things don't go 101% your way, take the short cut and jump for more money or minutes? As opposed to working, growing, and earning it. Seems like a lot of loser dads and money hungry consultants are trying to live vicariously through their daughters, and teaching terrible life lessons. Good luck trying this strategy when you work in the real world.

The NCAA has to fix the portal issue. Either limit the number of times a player can portal or figure out a way to compensate the school that did all the work in developing the player. You want to know why no mid-majors made runs in this year's tourney? They're just farm clubs.

Indecision and committee decision is what makes them very expensive. And marketing

@gradeafun @artsyomni Honestly, I'm not against the board reworking. Artists need Editors from time to time. And even the screenings are okay. Comedians practice jokes all the time. It's part of the craft. It's the design by committee that can be a major problem

Can anyone in the animation industry elucidate how Illumination's low-cost model materially affects the end product compared to other studios? When I see the Mario Movie, it doesn't strike me as a cheap-looking movie.

@konkonxo @artsyomni No one is gonna hate on you doing your best to have a clever take. You can glow and light to your hearts content, but if the jokes dont land and the animation was bad, nothing will save it. SMH. Illumination just does animation, fun animation. Plain and simple.
