Sayre 7 Walton Verona 2 in the All A State Finals. Howard gave us a great start. Murphy shut the door with a 3 inning save. Slabaugh was 3-4 to lead the offense. Johnson twins had 2 hits a piece. Beatty hit another nuke over the scoreboard to give us some breathing room.

Congratulations to the Sayre Varsity Baseball team for defeating Walton-Verona 7-2 in the 2023 All A State Baseball Tournament this afternoon. Senior Addie Stockham was named the tournament MVP. This is the first time that Sayre has won the All A Baseball Tournament.
