All the odds were stacked against Jeremy Corbyn. He’s one of the only independents to win a competitive election in a general election since World War II. He started his campaign late because of loyalty to his old party. His constituency has a huge turnover. Labour threw everything at this seat. He suffered a relentless smear campaign. He won against huge odds, and his team should be unbelievably proud of what they achieved.

I come from an NHS family and firmly believe in ensuring it remains free at the point of use. 🧑⚕️
I will fight for shorter waiting lists, protect our local maternity unit, and push for an MRI scanner at the Whittington hospital.
Only by electing a Labour MP in Islington North, who can work with a Labour government, can we get the NHS back on its feet 🌹

Labour's plan for the NHS will create 40,000 extra appointments a week to cut waiting times.
The Whittington Hospital is one of many hospitals that will also hugely benefit from Labour's funding for more MRI and CT scanners.
I am proud of our NHS and as your MP I will fight to protect the NHS free at the point of use and campaign for better services.
