@NewsAsset These job reports are lagging indicators. Companies have just started rolling massive layoffs like Robinhood, Amazon, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc...and inflation is still going up. I know gas went down a bit, but groceries and utilities have gone up about 20% from what I've noticed.
