Iran says the U.S. has agreed to their 10 point plan, which gives them control of the Strait, lets them keep their nuclear program and also their missiles, and drops sanctions against Iran. If this isn't true - and let's hope it's not - it is proof that there is indeed no deal.

The President is openly threatening massive escalation in Iran saying “a whole civilization will die tonight.”   Congress needs to vote to put a stop to this. It is a constitutional duty to vote on war powers and both sides should demand this.

Anyone in the Trump Administration who acts on this threat and violates the law must be held accountable, including criminal liability. The urgency of the situation demands immediate action. This is the type of moment the 25th Amendment was drafted to address. The president is unfit to serve, and lives are at stake. The entire chain of command has a responsibility in this moment to step up and put their country over their loyalty to the president.

There is still a chance for Iran to become a respected country, the likes of which the world has never seen, if they do the right thing. We have already won this war, Totally and Completely. Iran is disrupting the Strait, spiking oil prices worldwide. Trump is saying more time equals reopening Hormuz and controlling assets for leverage. Whether you like the blunt talk or not, endless patience hasn’t worked with Iran. Better a decisive end than prolonged economic pain.
