The hospital was quiet today. A little…too quiet.

Trying to reflect on all the reasons this job is so fulfilling, especially important on holidays when you’re in the hospital instead of witb family and especially especially important during a surge 💕

Working on the holidays is hard but 2 things I’m thankful for this week: - Spanish speaking family who lit up when I walked in the room and said “ay que bueno que la doctora habla español!” - 2day on rounds a family who said it was “heartening” to have a team there for their son
