I must be losing it. I can’t explain why I am so cheered that the Hudson River tunnel project is back on track after that mean vindictive hateful man stopped it to display his spiteful power. nydailynews.com/2026/02/13/fed…

Empire serves the same people who never show up in the files.
Not the flag.
Not "the people."
Not some abstract "West."
It serves:
The men whose money can cross any border while your body cannot.
The families whose last names survive every government.
The corporations that outlive every president.
The class whose kids do rehab and "gap years" for crimes other people do life for.
That is who empire serves.
You can change parties, change slogans, change presidents, change enemies.
The beneficiaries stay the same:
The banker who profits from sanctions and war.
The CEO who turns bombed countries into "new markets."
The politician who turns your fear into a career.
The media baron who sells you the script.
They are not loyal to America.
They are not loyal to Israel.
They are not loyal to Europe.
They are loyal to:
Return on investment.
Access to power.
Immunity.
Everyone else is costume.
The soldier gets a folded flag.
The voter gets a new speech.
The refugee gets a camp.
The dead get statistics.
You ask who empire serves?
It serves the tiny layer of people for whom:
Sanctions are not empty shelves but "leverage."
Genocide is not a crater but "shaping the battlefield."
A traffic island of minors is not horror but "access."
The rest of us are not citizens in that system.
We are props, consumers, voters, labor, collateral.
That is why they want you obsessed with one island, one list, one man.
Because if you ever answer your own question honestly,
If you ever really see who empire serves,
You stop thinking the problem is a few monsters in a folder and start realizing the entire hierarchy is the crime.

Request for emergency relief in action filed by state of Minnesota
This is the third shooting and the second fatal shooting by Defendants’ agents of Minneapolis in less than three weeks. The situation is grave; this most recent fatal shooting and Defendants’ escalating unlawful conduct provide compelling circumstances for Plaintiffs’ request for this Court to treat Plaintiffs’ motion as one for a Temporary Restraining Order as filed. If unchecked, Operation Metro Surge will only continue to
inflict irreparable harms and wreak havoc on Plaintiffs and their residents

We can't go back. ❌
The Alliance to Protect Kalief’s Law is a statewide coalition fighting to protect fair evidence sharing. Gov Hochul's proposal would take us back to an era of wrongful convictions and long-delayed trials.

Maybe the whole thing is a limited hangout in which 99.9 percent discuss the "leak" and only the .1 percent of us are pissed that they bombed civilian housing and killed scores of non-combatants. IOW, Hegseth green-lit a terrorist attack on Yemen but we aren't supposed to be talking about that. It's all about Goldberg. Seems quite peculiar. Especially given that they have identical passionate attachments in the region.
Duopoly Destroyer@realnikohouse
The Signalgate saga continues as Goldberg drops more messages from the signal group chat & we find out Pete Hegseth not only knew that they were meticulously planning the attack in the group (even though his exact words is that they were not) but he personally suggested the LIE used to justify attacking Yemen after insinuating average Americans would likely not support the attack if they knew the truth.

BREAKING: The US Justice Department is examining whether student protests at Columbia University over the genocide in Gaza violated federal terrorism laws, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said today.
Blanche’s department previously said the investigation is also looking into civil rights violations, stemming from the administration’s expanded definition of antisemitism to include criticism of Israel.
