The Yankees have the most recognizable sports brand in the US. They play in the world’s largest market. They have more history than any franchise in American sports. There is no reason any other team should be closing the gap on them in terms of franchise value. The Yankees have every advantage you can ask for at their disposal. If another team is closing the gap on them in terms of franchise value, it’s a good idea to figure out why. Probably not a coincidence that the Dodgers are close to being the league’s most valuable franchise while putting out the most compelling and talented roster in the game.

I think people fundamentally don't understand what a sabbatical is. Sabbaticals are not really a month/couple months long vacation where nothing more than lounging on the beech happens. Often it is time working on things the everyday prevents like writing, reading, and planning

I think a big problem for a lot of the people who run these accounts isn't that they have ADHD or autism, but they've decided that refusing to mature is an interesting personality trait or downstream effect of their neurodevelopmental disorder.

Lots of people allege Christian doctrine is hellenized, by which they mean that pagan Greek philosophical ideas distorted biblical truth. Plato much blamed. But here's a test you can run for yourself. Read a bit of Plato's most influential book & compare it to trinitarianism.

Imagine being a monk or clergyman trying super hard to be as saintly as possible studying theology and doing charitable works etc just to get holinessmogged by some kid with Down's syndrome who simply loves completely and with zero hesitation
