@DoctorWhoWorld_ Poorly conceived and executed. TOAT was just another big nail in Doctor Who's coffin as the decline continued into the second half of the 80s. Baker's first season was much better.

Have you watched 'The Trial of a Time Lord'?

Does anyone remember that they made a new Indiana Jones movie just 3 years back? Shia Lebouf died in Vietnam and they tried to make Phoebe Waller-Bridge the new Indy. It bombed horribly.

@SpicyDWTakes You have the option to watch with the original effects or the new ones. I like that we have the option. It does no harm to anyone. However, some of the original effects are well crafted and look great, even now. But I do look forward to new effects for Invasion of the Dinosaurs

#DoctorWho Spicy Take #181: Classic DW doesn’t need VFX updates. The old effects are charming and it’s interesting from a historical perspective to see how they were able to create them with such limited technology available. Plus, the new effects are sometimes actually worse.
