had a real pre/post ai moment today.
building a bit of functionality where I wanted the UI to follow a “script”.
had an LLM produce the script, but execution was *un ai’ed*. it was brittle. sometimes worked, sometimes broke. bit sh*te.
so instead, also had an LLM handle the run time. loose script and a “figure it out mate” prompt.
and it worked. a billion times better than I thought it would. a “how the hell does that work?” moment.
no big take away here, just a bit mad.

I think this will be the future of API/SDK adoption:
- codex/claude code/etc will automatically find and install an SDK to perform a task.
- the SDK will work without a key, but, will display a google maps'esque "dev mode" view
- that first load in localhost will be the onboarding
