With the Māori economy growing at a good rate (well done)!
Can we have an open debate around tax advantages?
(I’m asking as I’m certainly no expert in this area)
When I google (can someone confirm or deny);
Do Māori businesses pay less tax in NZ?
The only businesses in New Zealand that will receive this favourable 19.5 percent tax rate are Māori businesses.
As a trust, incorporation, or other entity subject to Māori land laws, you can apply for Māori Authority status from Inland Revenue (IR). For tax purposes, being a Māori Authority reduces your provisional tax rate from 33% to 17.5%.

My dad just sent me my vaccination records, “signed” by my 13 year-old self.
The “signature” was actually the graffiti tag I used during my #BadBoy phase.
This is what teenaged rebellion looks like, people.
