@graphtheory But my knowledge base (graphs and vectors) is already integrated with my agents through tool calls, I’m not sure what additional benefit I would get, or if I would actually have to rewire it

What is the purpose of bedrock? Why would you not just use model provider APIs?

@RobbiePasquale The fun stuff mainly is when you want to integrate your knowledge base that already sits in AWS. there's a lotta good ways to do that. Also like half their storage services now support vector DBs or embedding stuff. It's really weird, but useful (when it works)

@graphtheory I’m going to build a bedrock pipe for the sake of it/just so I have it anyway. So far I just have set up pipes from the three OAI,Google,anthropic direct apis

@RobbiePasquale No problem. I both had to work on this shit and sell it so unfortunately I had to invent and improve this value prop. If you use their SDKs you unlock some additional value (like Strands) but I wouldn't recommend it because they're not SOTA + vendor lock-in
