Notably, both Gates and Johnson have been berating other public officials for weeks to fight for more Chicago Public Schools funding from Springfield. “The house is on fire,” Gates told the school board two weeks ago. “You get water.” With Springfield’s legislative session ending May 31, Gates and Johnson have elected to spend time 5,000 miles away from the Capitol.

In 2020 Abdulhafedh Abdulhafedh was charged for possession of a stolen vehicle & aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
In 2021 he was charged with attempted robbery of a Harris bank in New Lenox, in 2023 he pleaded guilty & sentence to 4-years in prison.
In March of this year he was arrested in Elmhurst for possession of a stolen vehicle, obstruction & possession of stolen license plates.
He was released.
Our judicial system is broken & this case is a perfect example. A man who was out on parole was released from custody, why?

Chicago Police are investigating a shooting that left a teenage boy critically wounded overnight.
The shooting occurred around 3:21am, officers responded to multiple calls of shots fired and a person shot. Upon arrival, they found a 15-yr-old boy on the ground with a Gsw to the face. He was rushed to Comer’s Children’s Hospital 🏥 where he’s listed in critical condition.
CPD says the teen was walking outside, when a car pulled up, several offenders got out and fired multiple shots at him before speeding away.
At least 60 shells casings were found in the middle of the street.
No suspects are in custody as Area 1 Detectives are investigating.
