I don’t usually do this, but I’m asking for prayers for our girl. She was admitted to Levine Children’s Hospital last night. She had an episode yesterday morning where she was violently shaking. I took her to the pediatrician and they suspected seizure activity. They told me if anything else happened to take her to the hospital, with it being a weekend. Yesterday afternoon, she got down out of my lap, and I thought she was going to play. She sat down and quit breathing, turned purple and went completely limp. I called 911 and they got there quick to check her out. We were taken by ambulance to Catawba where the doctor immediately suspected seizures. He consulted with the neurologist and they agreed it sounds like seizures. When we got to Levines, they hooked her up to an EEG and EKG. All doctors are concerned that if it’s not seizures, then it could be cardiac related. So we’re gonna be here for several days. So please just whisper a prayer for our girl, and for us that they find answers.

"Please Keep My Family in Your Prayers" If you could, please keep my family in your prayers. My fiancé was diagnosed in April with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He is only 26 years old, and we have two children together. He has already gone through one round of chemo, but it didn’t work because his cancer cells broke apart and came back. Right now, 80% of his red blood cells are cancerous. For now, he is at home, trying to stay infection-free, fever-free, and gain weight. His next appointment with the doctor is next month, and we are just waiting to hear when he will be admitted for another round of chemo. The first picture is of him seeing our kids for the first time in 35 days. It breaks my heart that I can’t change this or fix it for him—especially knowing he lost his mom just two years ago to stage 4 colon cancer. My family means everything to me. 💔
