Green Compute is Bittensor subnet 110 — an inference marketplace where only verifiably green compute gets paid.

This is a real case study of a recent installation. A farm in the UK had spare barn space, on-site anaerobic digestion, and constrained renewable power that wasn’t being fully monetised. So instead of letting that excess energy go to waste, the site was modernised with a data hall and live compute infrastructure. The result: * Farm waste → Renewable power * Constrained energy → Usable compute * Underused infrastructure → New revenue potential

Not every workload needs H100s and B200s. For a huge amount of inference, what matters most is bang for buck and the ability to deploy it at scale. That’s where Green Compute is different. * High-performance consumer GPUs where they make sense * Symmetrical clusters * Real data centre architecture * Infrastructure built for scaled commercial workloads Not just compute, but usable compute.

Green Compute is being built by a team that combines real-world compute operations with long-term Bittensor experience. The goal is simple: pair proven operators with experienced Bittensor participants to give Subnet 110 the strongest possible foundation from day one.

AI’s biggest bottleneck isn’t GPUs, it’s power access. Across the UK and other western markets, huge amounts of renewable energy are already being produced but wasted because the grid can’t take it when it’s available. Wind gets dumped, hydro gets turned off, solar gets curtailed, and farms generating their own power are left with stranded energy. Green Compute bridges that gap by working with renewable energy producers to turn constrained power into enterprise AI compute. In short: wasted clean power becomes useful inference capacity. That means a better outcome for energy producers, cheaper tokens, and a practical way to scale AI without waiting on broken grid infrastructure.

@dawjiaw Ah sorry, sounds like an error on the website . We are working on lots of hot fixes with the devs at the moment so will get that on the fix list.

@GoldenWaveAi @Pop_Collapse We dont use fertiliser to make power. Anaerobic digestion takes the waste biological matter that decomposes to run the methane through a generation engine. Ingredients can vary but can often use animal poo or waste cut off from crop harvest.

The case for Green Compute, BIttensor bittensor:native subnet 110. @green_compute_ Capacity to run AI inference and workloads is scarce. Per below, Nvidia and PulteGroup are partnering to put data centers in the walls of new homes. Now look at what Green Compute is doing: using UK farms and leveraging pig/cow pies to generate compute. 💩💻 This subnet also has real recurring revenue which they plan to lock back into the subnet. 💰📈

We are aiming at a gap in the market that most people aren’t even talking about yet. AI doesn’t just need models. It needs power, infrastructure and deployment that works in the real world. Subnet 110 is built around that reality and we are really excited to see where this goes.

What makes Green Compute different to many of the other subnets in Bittensor? We’re not starting with a token and hoping a business appears later. We’re starting with a real business and using Subnet 110 to scale it. We’re focused on building something durable with high standards for miners and infrastructure that can actually serve enterprise demand.

Green Compute is built to turn real enterprise demand into subnet rewards. Enterprises buy inference from us, demand is then routed through validators and miners earn by supplying the compute that serves it. What makes SN110 different is the focus on enterprise-grade symmetry across hardware, networking, IPs, and engineering support. So larger contracts can be distributed reliably across multiple miners, instead of relying on fragmented capacity.

We’re Green Compute and we just launched Subnet 110 on Bittensor. We turn constrained renewable energy (AKA Cow Shit) into inference compute. Built on real hardware, real deployments, and real customers. Our mission is to make verifiably green compute valuable on-chain. Glad to be here. green-compute.com
