Technically, it's the second worst. But none of them can admit that in public yet.

@HoeghAutoliners Possibly the worst customer experience ever endured. Been waiting for my car for almost 3 months and now the boat is delayed again with no explanation! I could have flown to Japan and driven the damn thing back to the UK in less time.

@agoodfireburns So the psychopaths that were clamouring for the hardest of no-deal Brexit's are now finally getting their day in the sun with Covid, what could possibly go wrong...

@John58297436 @NorthernLady6 @piersmorgan It's 6 weeks every summer not 3 months every other summer you tosser. I bet you haven't even got the level of education required to train as a teacher let alone the ability to last more than 5 minutes in a classroom full of kids.

‘Dada, when you ask these Government ministers really simple questions, some of which we already know the answer to, why do they keep the answers a secret?’ - my 9yr-old daughter just now over lunch.

@agoodfireburns It's what Chomsky meant by manufacturing consent, right? It's mental that all the failures of test and trace are emblazoned with NHS branding yet the vaccine effort is entirely attributed to the brilliance government ministers.

@SmileItsKT @23rdspiral @Number10cat Unless the name of your country is China, Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, S Korea etc. It's got nothing to do with population size or geographical area and everything to do with political choices.

@lenovo_UKI The worst customer service ever. Just had to pay £50 to send my dead on arrival laptop back to you because you just continue to ignore my emails and show no willingness to resolve this problem. Never ordering anything from you again. Simply awful.

There is more red tape. The fishermen are worse off. There is no frictionless trade. There is a border in the Irish Sea. America is not coming to the rescue. And the Vote Leave government is now delivering the worst Covid death rate & one of the deepest recessions in the world.

@greenaway_sam @johan3932 @mi6rogue @laughingginge I don't think it's a case of either/or. I think ivermectin should be rolled out at the same time. It's cheap & safe & every day we wait thousands of people die around the world. Like I said - it's too slow for wartime conditions.

@deepgreendude @johan3932 @mi6rogue @laughingginge Yes I did. I'm not some lazy numbty arguing for the sake of it. It seems to me that there is hope the drug could be useful but trials are ongoing. The true efficacy of vaccines won't be known for some time either. Still, I'd take the Pfizer vaccine today given the opportunity!

@deepgreendude @johan3932 @mi6rogue @laughingginge I looked at a handful, it seems to be mostly pre print, somewhat anecdotal and some examples are of it being used to treat severe covid. It doesn't really seem to make your case as a miracle prophylaxis.

@greenaway_sam @johan3932 @mi6rogue @laughingginge wow - so you didn't open the link, scroll down & click on any of the studies listed in the link above? If you'd done so you would have seen a brief description & a link to the original published papers. 43 studies incl RCTs, 16 of which have already been peer reviewed.

@deepgreendude @johan3932 @mi6rogue @laughingginge No point arguing about it now, lockdown will be necessary to prevent an immediate meltdown. It was the do nothing, herd immunity approach alomg with gross incompetence and years of NHS neglect that got us to this point.

@greenaway_sam @johan3932 @mi6rogue @laughingginge Yes I daresay that did play a part. I'm in the Westcountry & we've had a very easy time of it compared to some. I too was able to get a minor skin cancer looked at & 'diagnosed' (although not treated yet). The waiting list for surgeries in now 160X longer than this time last year

@deepgreendude @johan3932 @mi6rogue @laughingginge It depends where you live doesn't it. I'm in London and our hospitals did nothing but treat covid patients in the first wave. I also have family members who have managed to get a cancer diagnosis and be treated this year.

@greenaway_sam @johan3932 @mi6rogue @laughingginge That may be the case now - but it wasn't in the first wave (which is where all these undiagnosed cancers come from). In the first wave they *could* have segregated hospitals into covid & non-covid hospitals so that other treatments could continue as best as possible.
