In Canada right now, they're so worried about hikers starting forest fires they've banned it, with a $25,000 dollar fine for violating the order. To enforce the order, they have police... hiking and riding bikes through the forest. Comment below what you think should happen to Canadian politicians and police officers.

**** Via Truro Police Service The Truro Police Service has increased foot patrols and bike patrols of our wooded and trail areas. Please remain out of all restricted areas which also include upper Victoria Park and the Railyard Bike Park

Pat Stedman | Dating & Relationship Coach for Men
Do you think any single man would want to be married to these women? Would they want to be married at all if this is the experience they're selling? This is the branding crisis that Christianity is facing right now in the West. Being lectured by these women on sex feels the same as being lectured by Elizabeth Warren on privilege.
Lila Rose@LilaGraceRose

Men don’t need sex. Our culture is so hypersexualized that the idea of a celibate priest leaves people in disbelief—as if it’s impossible. That’s heartbreaking. Have we really forgotten that self-control and virtue are within reach? Look at Jesus Christ. The most perfect man to ever walk the earth was celibate and sinless before He was crucified for our sins. Shouldn’t He be the supreme model for manhood? Self-mastery. Discipline. Total self-gift—all out of love. Priests choose celibacy so their hearts can belong entirely to God. As St. Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 7:32-35: “I want you to be free from anxieties. The unmarried man is anxious about the things of the Lord, how to please the Lord. But the married man is anxious about worldly things, how to please his wife, and his interests are divided... I say this for your own benefit... to secure your undivided devotion to the Lord.” Abstinence isn’t just for priests—intermittent abstinence can also be a beautiful practice within marriage if a couple has a serious reason to delay bringing a baby into the world. When practicing Natural Family Planning (NFP), spouses can grow in self-mastery, deepen their love, and remain faithful to God’s design for marriage. Christ is the model. Love is the reason. Holiness is the goal. Watch E238 of The Lila Rose Show: youtu.be/hkhX9sP9Rxk

@LauraPowellEsq @mikesmith187 That aside; it's another example of short sightedness to just keep rebuying mid priced poorly made vacuums over your lifetime. Buy a real one and it could outlast you. I bought the one my mother bought when I was a kid.. and she still has that one.

@mikesmith187 Who identifies as a “serious vacuumer”? 😆 The most effective vacuum cleaner is the one that gets used. A serious vacuum cleaner is too much trouble to drag out, plug in, and drag around.

My hot take is that Dyson vacuums are not for serious vacuumers. Battery is garbage, filter is garbage. Canister too small. Absolute joke of a cleaning tool.

Why do libs tolerate urban disorder (eg. psychotic hobos acting out, creating messes)? Is it because they’re bored with life, numbed (by meds) and need to feel like *something* is happening and that life is less mundane than it is?

@memeticsisyphus I don't speak German but I read the German word used for 'scientific' as in scientific Marxism is a sort of third thing that doesn't translate well. It's not the same as our word science.

@feelsdesperate @dose_of_Close Yes; and you still are not on the hook for taxes. You can just put the money into something else vs collecting it as income.

@dose_of_Close Aren’t stock buy backs good for investors in that it forces stock prices up rather than getting an immediate payout so that taxes are deferred until you sell? Not my area of expertise so happy to be wrong/ misunderstand this.

Ok, so Trump’s tariff theatrics led companies to put their cash towards stock buybacks instead of investments? The merits of this can be debated but not exactly the economic armageddon the hysterics predicted, right? Was everyone a little over their skis?

If you want a basic white collar office job and you're good at math then go to some random state school for PHYSICAL ENGINEERING FIELD. Such as Petroleum / chemical/ aerospace / mechanical / HVAC / civil engineering etc. AVOID TECH AVOID COMP SCI AND AVOID ACTUAL SCIENCE. You will not get a job with a physics degree, bio degree, chemistry degree, or even a math degree. Don't go to MIT, GA Tech, UT Austin, etc. Go to a state school with an engineering program you know you will pass with a 3.9 MINIMUM. AVOID ANY TOP 10 UNIVERSITY ITS NOT WORTH IT THE CLASSES ARE THE SAME. While at random mid state school then pursue LOCAL firms in the state that recruit local talent. Hopefully intern there for a few years and by the time you graduate you will have a job opportunity at a firm nobody has heard of doing something nobody knows about.

If you were advising a widely-talented 17yo today who wanted the safest path to the upper middle class what college major would you recommend? I genuinely don't know. The world is changing a lot. It's probably not computer science. Maybe it's mechanical engineering or math?

@ChristinaPushaw And to stop doubling down with threats of going further left since they are trapped in debt... yes; you were trapped in debt by the democrat establishment you slavishly support. If you want our help how about conceding it and asking for it with contrition... not threats...

@ChristinaPushaw 2/2 C: many such degree fields. So; usually these are people who listened to others and/or ignored or rejected us. Typically they're ideologically hostile to us. D: Most of us want them to wake up and realize they were fooled and put into this position by sides they follow.

We conservatives were always sympathetic toward coal miners and O&G workers, who lost their jobs due to government policies. We sympathized with military, healthcare workers & first responders who were fired for refusing mRNA mandates. So why shouldn’t I be sympathetic to Gen Z kids who took out loans to get a degree in computer science and now can’t even find a job at Chipotle let alone in tech? Their struggles are just as much a result of government policy decisions. We should not be dismissive; we should want to help them. It could be any of our kids in the same situation one day.

I was listening to a video by this guy who wrote a book about the evils of race science or something and he said something you hear quite a lot which goes something like, “when I first started working on this book people would thank me for writing it, because they’d say that their racist relatives make all these fallacious argument arguments that they know aren’t true, but they just didn’t have the tools to rebut them.” But how can they possibly know what’s true if they don’t have the tools to rebut them? How do they know which arguments are fallacious if they literally don’t know which arguments are fallacious? This is such pandering nonsense.

For years as I covered J6 cases and the indictments against Pres Trump, I hoped karma eventually would find its way to those responsible for inflicting such inhumane torment against innocent Americans. The ongoing removal of corrupt FBI/DOJ employees is just part of that accountability—more to come on this. Kudos to @AGPamBondi @DAGT @ddBlanche @FBIDirectorKash and @FBIDDBongino for doing what must be done and bringing some measure of payback for what happened to so many.
