@ericnakagawa the drift is a real problem, but another thing to check is that no controller is on face down. sometimes I've had false alarms because of a controller under a pillow with the joystick mashed down

Playing Nintendo Switch with my kids this am. Experiencing major controller drift. This is where the controller registers ghost input and your character or cursor moves in one direction. Not good for games game that require precision. These consoles won’t last > 1 generation.

@jengates My resting heart rate has stayed similarly low for years now. I’m 4 years into keto at this point...maybe 1 more and I can call it “sustainable”? 😉

@tylerg39 It adds layers of complexity to the Karate Kid universe, which sounds even funny for me to say. The show is definitely worth a look. Ted Lasso is next for me after this

@MikeHuddard @siracusa The Sega ergonomics weren’t anything special like GameCube, but Sega had the best D-pads with those controllers. None of the modern D-pads are as good to me, though the shift to analog sticks is certainly great.

@MikeHuddard @siracusa The Sega Genesis 6 button controller was similarly great. That and GameCube are my favorites.

Ignore the controls and just look at these silhouettes. I am not on this page. I find this basic shape to be awkward in my hands, and I’m not excited to see it become the “default” everywhere.
