@jhong Seems like Google's AI could do that, but alas...
So instead I use an MCP in msgvault with Claude Code and I just have Claude generate amazing filters for me and then import them into Gmail. msgvault.io/cli-reference/

Why can't the Gemini button in Gmail create filters for me? Seems like the first thing any app integrating an AI should do is make it an alternate interface to existing functionality.

do you think when Codex finds Claude files in a folder it gets jealous?

@prdonahue My expensive subscription is on Anthropic and my lightweight, entry-level one is on OpenAI, so I'm probably going to run out too.
I was tempted to try out the /fast command, but it said it used up tokens twice as fast.

@bryanrbeal I used Google Document AI to build this for all my own financial documents and statements turning them into markdown and then feeding them to other AI tools for analysis.
Works like a champ.
