❌ We need to stop relying on volatile supplies of gas and oil. For our security and stability, the EU must have its own supply of energy and renewables are the solution. We can produce it ourselves, we don’t need to rely on external forces. 💚 Renewable energy is the future.

Trump’s threats to cripple Cuba’s energy supply will only lead to further instability and pain for the Cuban people. We condemn his blatant coercion and bullying tactics toward yet another nation. We must stand united for a rule-based international order, sovereignty & dialogue.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard will be listed as what it is: a terror organisation. It is a victory for the Iranian people and all those who oppose tyranny. Their fight for freedom is also our responsibility. We will not be silent.

Any decision to freeze or resume the EU–US trade talks cannot be made unilaterally. The EP President represents the entire House - the will of democratic groups must be respected. Now is the time for de-escalation and to stand united in our respect for our institutions.

A democratic transition in Venezuela is urgently needed. BUT: Violent air strikes to enforce regime change destroy a rules based world order. They do not offer a lasting path to peace or democracy. But bring more violence. The EU has to react and stand up to defend intl law.
