There are real way to lower New Yorkers auto premiums but taking the rights away from people injured is not the way. It’s a false pretense by the Gov because she’s hoarding Uber money.

Your ZIP code and credit rating have more to do with your auto insurance premium than your driving record. A driver with poor credit can end up paying $1,000 or more in extra premiums compared to someone in a wealthier neighborhood with strong credit -- even if that person has a DUI on their record.

Exactly on point- None of the insurance carriers will committ to any rate decrease let alone open thier books to show why @GovKathyHochul tort reform is justified- Nothing to do with affordability- just increasing profits for Uber & big insurance at the expense of victim rights.

They want the savings. Just not for you.

They denied the United States that cooperation. The implied argument is that their obligations within our alliance depend on whether they like the guy we chose as our president. “Sure, we’re allies…if we approve of who you elected.” Nope. We are not going to forget, and we’re not going to forgive. I’m indifferent to their excuses or their rationalizations. The United States of America needed their help and not very much help. They turned us down. That changes everything. And they aren’t going to like how it changes everything.
