New York, let's get organized. In a city of over 8 million, just 400 people showed up to speak at the last Rent Guidelines Board hearing — where decisions about rents are made. We can do better. If we want a city that works for tenants and landlords alike, we need New Yorkers to show up and make their voices heard. The next hearings are this June. Visit ORGANIZE.NYC.GOV to get involved.

We have already had several 2026 Power 4 players reach out that went early to play Spring Soccer and will be entering the May #TransferPortal. Cutting players after 4 months on campus and before their true freshman year starts is brutal!!

To Recap: Our Administration inherited an agreement where FIFA contributes $0 toward transportation for the World Cup – while also eliminating parking at MetLife Stadium. Except for premium parking, where FIFA is charging over $200 per spot. As a result, NJ TRANSIT must carry four times the usual ridership for events at the venue, at a cost of $48 million. New Jerseyans shouldn’t be stuck with that bill while FIFA makes $11 billion in profits.

We inherited an agreement where FIFA is providing $0 for transportation to the World Cup. And while NJ TRANSIT is stuck with a $48 million bill to safely get fans to and from games, FIFA is making $11 billion. I’m not going to stick New Jersey commuters with that tab for years to come. FIFA should pay for the rides. But if they don’t – I’m not going to let New Jersey get taken for one.

Exclusive @TheAthleticFC : Current NJ Transit plans for return train from NY Penn Station to MetLife Stadium during World Cup are for tickets to be priced at over $100. Usual price is $12.90, making it more than a 7-fold increase for World Cup fans. nytimes.com/athletic/71933…

🚨 Barça were indeed PENALISED by VAR. The VAR room remained silent during the handball incident involving Musso and Pubill. 😳 VAR officials believed the Barça players were protesting time-wasting, not the Atlético player’s handball. As a result, the situation was misunderstood and VAR never alerted the referee. 👀 (Source: Josep Soldado)
