How does @Ford think it's ok to stop making engine mounts for a 2006 F250 SD. It is supposed to be a good investment as a work truck or not?

I am super-pleased to be serving on the PC of the excellent and much-needed "Undone Science in CS" 2026: "to provide an opportunity to pause and reflect on the epistemological and ethical aspects of computer science". For much more information, please see: undonecs.org/2026/

Congrats to Dr. Robert Xiao for winning a Lasting Impact Award ( paper at least 10 years old) at the '24 ACM Interactive Surfaces and Spaces Conference. "Estimating 3D Finger Angle on Commodity Touchscreens" was written in 2015. ow.ly/J8x550TVTeO @dfp_ubc @nneonneo #UBC

C is Latin, the root of all modern languages, the whole universe used to speak it. C++ is French, it’s Latin with fancy rules, used by the elite around the world & in specific circles. JavaScript is English, everybody speaks it, most speakers speak it poorly and others don’t bother learning another language. Java is German, it’s verbose, over-complicated and it made me cry several times. I won’t elaborate. Python is Esperanto, it was created to be so easy everyone could speak it. Its speakers could benefit from a shower once in a while. Rust is Russian, most speakers have an authoritarian left background and want to spread it worldwide.
