Statement from CFI Parliamentary Chairs, Greg Smith MP and Rt. Hon. Lord Eric Pickles regarding the announcement that the government will formally ban the IRGC:
"It is hugely welcome to see Iran's Revolutionary Guards Corps proscribed, but it has taken far too long to get to this point.
"If this organisation's malign and destructive tendencies weren't clear before, the brutal suppression of the mass protests in Iran earlier this year, indiscriminate attacks on our allies including the Gulf states and Israel, plus the IRGC's involvement in attacks on our Jewish communities in Britain have demonstrated the urgency of this ban.
"The government now needs use these powers to relentlessly pursue every organisation and individual currently operating in the UK with any connection - financial or otherwise - to the IRGC, including so-called charities and media organisations which act as mouthpieces for this tyrannical terrorist group."

“F1 is not a sport that is in Britain. It is a British industry behind an incredible global sport, and it is one of the crown jewels of the UK economy.”

Damning new info revealed by FOI shows the Treasury privately discussed 3 conflicts of interest about Ray McCann yet appointed him anyway to lead a so-called ‘independent’ #LoanCharge review.

I fell in love with motorsport watching Ayrton Senna win as a McLaren driver. Taken too soon, always missed.

Today @Conservatives called for Labour to u-turn on their fuel duty rises that will hammer everyone in the UK, but they marched their backbenchers up the hill to vote FOR the fuel duty rises. LibDems and Reform missing in action when the vote came.
