Calling billionaires “the minority destroying America” is lazy thinking. Bezos, Musk, Gates, and Zuckerberg’s companies employ nearly 2 million people directly and millions more indirectly. Their wealth is not hoarded cash. It is equity in productive companies that create jobs and services people actually use. The U.S. government takes in $5 trillion a year. If poverty and suffering were just a money problem, they would already be solved. Scapegoating the rich is easier than admitting bad policy, broken incentives, and institutional failure. Billionaires are not destroying the country. Failed institutions are more at fault.

An F-35A/B Lightning ll made an emergency landing at a U.S. air base in the Middle East this week, after it was struck by what is believed to be Iranian surface-to-air fire, according to two sources familiar with the matter who spoke to CNN. Capt. Tim Hawkins, a Spokesman for U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), said the fifth-generation stealth jet was “flying a combat mission over Iran” when it was forced to make an emergency landing at a base in the Middle East. “The aircraft landed safely, and the pilot is in stable condition,” Hawkins added. “This incident is under investigation.”

They didn’t line up, and then arrogantly and bossily complained to the non-Chinese shop assistants (Filipinos / Southeast Asians) in Mandarin why no one was serving them… and they questioned the assistants why they’re not speaking Mandarin… when a customer — a local Hong Konger — stood up for the staff and confronted the Chinese bullies, the 🇨🇳 man went nationalistic and barked “are you Chinese?” bla bla bla… (The videos were posted on Threads on Mar 15.)
