@Hank83416250473 Because if you're entering a contract with the big suppliers you have to guarantee a minimum amount of shirts which is far far bigger than anything we currently sell

@AlexJPMiller As long as he doesn't disappear for 40 years he might be ok

It's perhaps a sign of the times that Devlan Moses' white hot scoring run hasn't caused much of a public ripple.
His contribution at senior level is growing. Notes have been given on how Moses can continue to go about parting the ways👇

@uptherams72 @jon_wakefield @AlanBiggs1 Not crying pal just want fairness, we'll take our medicine. We wouldn't want you losing sleep about it.
Why is my timeline full of Derby fans wanting us out of business? I don't get your obsession
English

@jon_wakefield @grena_owl @AlanBiggs1 Im pissed off with twitter timeline being all Wednesday fans crying about efl applying the rules u actually signed up too thinking it wouldn’t be u.. and u all lauded your past owner when he came like u are the American lot now..I don’t want u to die and hope we play again soon

There’s a genuinely good vibe surrounding the group aiming to take control of #SWFC. That makes it all the more important the EFL - with their “discretion” - don’t hamper or endanger a rescue of this stricken club.
Alan Biggs@AlanBiggs1
“Niceness” can be derided. But I think it’s very important in life, including club owners. Henrik Pedersen, for talkSPORT, on meeting the Storch group briefly, told me: “I found them to be very positive, very exciting. Great humans, interesting people” #SWFC
English

@uptherams72 @jon_wakefield @AlanBiggs1 But your previous owner waived his debt, clowes wouldn't have bought you if not
English

@jon_wakefield @AlanBiggs1 It’s not, we had the restrictions, every deal had to go through efl, wage limits, we spent two years in league one, we only didn’t have the minus 15 because our new owner paid the amount to cover the 25p.. all this crying from Wednesday fans etc it’s all efl fault, no it isn’t
English

The @EFL Insolvency Policy is a document so secret the @SWFCTrust had to obtain a leaked copy. They should publish it for everyone to see. Tonight the Trust will be publishing an extract which includes the considerations which the EFL “will consider” in exercising its discretion
English

@1FranDee @David_O_91 @stevechu75 @EFL @SWFCTrust So it's exactly the same...apart from the bit that's different 😳
English

@David_O_91 @stevechu75 @EFL @SWFCTrust I'm not sure what it is you weren't expecting tho. Apart from the -15 if you don't exit administration properly we were hit with the same sanctions with everything else

@owl_s74 @owlsmadmorris @Hank83416250473 Look at how other clubs run their EP’s
Everton are the benchmark, they don’t have just one group.

@steg245 @boblogisreal @robstaton Thanks I just wanted to check that the answer was 'no' and you confirmed it👍
English

@grena_owl @boblogisreal @robstaton No. Our new owner was willing to pay a purchase price over valuation that avoided another points deduction. Yours could too but choose not too.
IIRC you benefited from us being under a business plan and got promoted, but are now crying when the same rule applies to you.
English

Claims made include the EFL only telling #SWFC administrators & preferred bidder on Tuesday morning of restrictions. The EFL wants to apply £7m wage bill & an upper limit of £7k a week on players. It's claimed a 15-point deduction for next season is “entirely discretionary"
Rob Staton@robstaton
🗣️ "They are in effect, it feels from my perspective, trying to kill Sheffield Wednesday" An interview with James Silverwood @SWFCTrust with headline-making claims relating to the EFL and restrictions that could be placed on #SWFC The EFL have been contacted for a response
English

@grena_owl @robstaton No because Clouse paid over the odds for the club to avoid it, but the others would have resulted in a 15 points deduction esp if ashley brought ut
English

@llewellyna071 @robstaton Did Derby get a points deduction in those seasons as well
English

@robstaton They did that at derby for the 1st 2 seasons
English

@boblogisreal @robstaton Derby had a wage cap and couldn't pay a transfer fee for 2 season after coming out of administration.
English

@ashmore_matt @barxthefourth @stevechu75 @SWFCTrust So staying up with -15 'is easy'... All I'll say is look at 5th bottom of L1 then add 15, you'll see we'd need play off form to do it. That doesn't even account for attracting players in the first place and then making them gel. Yes we can do it but it won't 'be easy'
English

@barxthefourth @grena_owl @stevechu75 @SWFCTrust do that and L2 is guaranteed.Behind the scenes we need to start working on both of them but this summer is critical. It’s not ridiculous dreams, it’s very doable and staying up at that level with -15 is quite frankly easy with some money, but you have to have good decision makers
English

I was one of the @SWFCTrust reps who were privileged to meet David and Michael Storch and Tom Costin yesterday. They gave us over two hours of their time, asked for our views, and listened to us. They convinced me that... 1/4
English

@ashmore_matt @barxthefourth @stevechu75 @SWFCTrust We'd also benefit from realism. I'd rather them stand up and say we are going to do XYZ and that might mean 2-3 years before we get out but the benefits of this will be ABC.
That would be better than false promises even if it's a heavy dose of reality to many fans
English

@barxthefourth @stevechu75 @SWFCTrust Ambition is no bad thing, this club and fanbase would benefit a lot from having some of it.
English

@robstaton @WTIDPOD A good sound sensible article... I fear it's too long for those that rely on Twitter/X for their updates tho😀

@MattrpSwfc @AlanBiggs1 I get this, but none of these bidders are fans of the #swfc. They know that there will be another club along in a year or so (e.g.Leicester) so if the EFL play hardball why wouldn't the they walk away.
English

@grena_owl @AlanBiggs1 Bidders at the moment will say this bit when push comes to shove one will, paying the absolute minimum needed to be able to play in L1 next season. There's no point worrying about what might happen, doing that you're just torturing yourself. This is called playing hardball.
English

Re -15 for #swfc & hope of suitors to remove or reduce:
I get why other sanctioned clubs would find this unfair. But I can imagine a transition of this fan-punishing rule. After all, the main reason for the IFR is to stop clubs going into admin in future!
