15 year drive warranty on the @Chamberlain garage door opener drive is a scam. This is 3 years old and they basically just told me there is nothing they can do. Can't even buy the part in Canada, even though they have it in the US.

The forest fire hazard forecast is HIGH and EXTREME for some areas today. Burning permits are invalid when the index is HIGH, VERY HIGH or EXTREME. Open or outdoor fires are not permitted when the index is VERY HIGH or EXTREME. Report wildfires: 1-866-709-FIRE (3473) #GovNL

A tale of two companies. @thenorthface completely replaced my 10yo tent when some of the straps got loose. @Chamberlain won't even send me the part that broke off their drive after only 3 years. twitter.com/grevory/status…

@gamer___15 @ryanfancey Paying more than minimum for a guy who's not going to contribute goals, who's nearing retirement, who's going to be in and out of the lineup on a good team, is bad.

Dunno if everyone knows this, but in Canada, public airwaves belong to all of us. In exchange for using the airwaves, broadcasters have long been required to provide local news service. So Bell is asking here to abandon its foundational responsibility to the Canadian public.

The #OceanGate submersible may be stuck, the resurface platform may not be working, or countless other problems. I suspect that Titan Electronics have failed hence why, 1 they haven't resurfaced (unable to get back to the platform) and 2 they haven't been able to communicate with the surface. Genuine answers only: What recovery methods would you think of? Bearing in mind that there is <50 hours of life support left, it can only be opened from the outside and it is potentially 3,800m below the surface equating to roughly 380 bar of pressure on the hull. My thoughts - IF they can even find it. They would need to send another submersible/submarine down that has the mechanical ability, and the depth reach, to attach some kind of floatation device. The floatation device would have to be triggered and have sufficient buoyancy to lift the distressed submersible to the surface or near to it. Do these kind of devices even exist? And would they function at that kind of depth?
