Why so many dudes saying opensource models are not good? What do you do seriously? One-shot things? I use opensource models everyday, they are at level of proprietary models in 95% tasks except very sharp reasoning scientific tasks that I need once a month (and I build AI BTW)

Revamped the water distance measurement setup. A cheap HC-SR04 turned out to be more reliable once mounted in a dedicated spot with no interference. Not waterproof but that will do. had to stay conservative in power: low voltage causes bad readings. Learned a lot along the way.
